Let's set the record straight right now. We don't knock over tables, have screaming tantrums in restaurants or do any of the things those other "real housewives" do. We're just looking for some help on where to find baking soda, interesting places to buy light fixtures (and you WILL have to buy light fixtures,) shopping outside of the Bahnhofstrasse, and where to take all of those visitors you are sure to have (especially when it is raining - see blog background for your typical view), among other things.
There are many blogs and websites out there about living in Zürich. They are all wonderful and we Hausfraus enjoy them immensely! However, we felt like there was just something missing. As expats, we are in this beautiful city with little prior knowledge and minimal (if any) Schweizerdeutsch skills. We won't be here for long, so we want to make the most out of it...now! So, we put our heads together, and this is the fruit of our labor. It is, in essence, just an easier way to share our knowledge with each of our fellow fraus.
